- We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of the African-Nigerian market, culture, and consumer behavior—whether through lived experience, professional background, or personal connection. This knowledge will be key to effectively engaging with our core audience and driving impact in the region.
Responsiblities:
1. User Acquisition:
- Build go to market and accelerated growth strategies for the US market.
- Develop and execute comprehensive national marketing strategies tailored to assigned markets
- Monitor and analyse the performance of acquisition campaigns, making data-driven adjustments to optimise results.
- Develop and assign growth targets to team members
2. Management
- Develop job description and spearheads recruitment for staff to carry out marketing strategy
- Liaise with HR to support recruiting, interviewing and providing assessment materials
- Set KPIs and staff development targets and apply performance reviews
- Organize and assign growth KPIs to managed staff
- Instill a culture of creativity, data driven decision making and results oriented work ethic
4. Market Research and Insights:
- Utilize user and transaction details to assess growth
- Constantly analyze data to measure impact of marketing activities
- Leverage data to determine marketing budget investment decisions
- Propose and manage quarterly marketing budget
- Prepare and present market performance reports
5. Product management:
- Work closely with product team to ensure performance of product is optimal
- Prioritize product and market fit
- Ensure an efficient feedback loop between users and product
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of work experience, working in fast-paced environments in the capacity where you have honed in your analytical and strategy development skills.
- Experience carrying out multi-prolonged marketing rollouts that includes ground and community marketing, influencer marketing and CRM.
- You will be successful if you are entrepreneurial, ambitious, have a good work ethic and you are used to working against targets.
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems and drive growth.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Have previous experience conducting marketing to African diasporas
- Fluent in a second language is a plus.
