About the Role

The role of the Marketing Associate, UK, is a hybrid position within Lemonade Finance’s Marketing team. In this role, you should have a demonstrated knowledge of organising campaigns and developing marketing strategies with at minimum, 1 year in a marketing or similar position.

As Lemonade Finance’s Marketing Associate in the UK, you will be working closely with the Growth Manager and other team members to deliver and improve our marketing campaigns. The role will involve working with influencers, events, email, and social, as well as assisting with the offline marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing and a commitment to helping us grow our marketing reach and customer base.

Responsibilities are as follows:

  • Support and collaborate with various teams within the company to plan and execute marketing campaigns;
  • Support with content, coordinate and build monthly newsletters
  • Contact, onboard and monitor influencers to, ensure correct messaging is used and influencers deliver against targets set;
  • Oversee the development of promotional materials for events and other partnerships ;
  • Secure and attend events to foster relationship with event organisers across the UK
  • Plan and organise events to drive conversions;
  • Manage and coordinate a small team of event representatives ;
  • Manage inventory and shipping within the UK;
  • Assist in the development of marketing assets such as digital products, landing pages and other content;
  • Assist in creating email workflows, segmentations and user acquisitions using customer.io;
  • Conduct market research to identify current and potential customer needs and trends;
  • Engage in cross-functional responsibilities and assist the Growth Manager where needed.

What You'll Need

  • A degree in Marketing is preferred but not required;
  • You have to be a resident in the UK
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a Marketing role;
  • Highly organised and knowledgeable on the African diaspora in the UK;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of email marketing, blog writing and event partnerships.
  • Excellent writing and people management skills;
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing business and regulatory environment.
  • Copywriting experience would be a plus.
